Do I pay tuition if my child does not attend Daycare?
Yes, as this holds your child’s spot. The hiring of teachers is based upon the number of expected children per day, which is an incurred cost whether your child is there or not. Little Flower does not provide “credit” for unattended days either. Each family is granted a discount for one week per year for vacation. See next FAQ.
Is there a break in tuition if we are on vacation?
Each family is allowed a 50% discount for one-week vacation per year, with at least a three-week notice.
Which methods of payments are accepted?
Checks, cash, money orders, and our FACTS tuition management.
Are there cameras installed?

Are snacks or meals provided?
No, therefore, please be sure to provide your child(ren) with meals, drinks and snacks they need for their day.
Can I celebrate my child's birthday at Little Flower?
Absolutely! Birthdays are a very special day and we love to celebrate. Feel free to bring in cupcakes, cake, cookies, etc. for all children in the classroom.
How often do the children go outside?
30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon, weather permitting.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:45am – 6:00pm. Please note that we are closed on federal holidays. A list of holidays is available on this website.
Who owns Little Flower Early Learning Center?
The Catholic Schools Alliance oversees the Little Flower Early Learning Center, which is a part of the Diocese of Fall River.
Can my child attend Little Flower for a half day?
Little Flower Early Learning Center is a full day childcare center, and therefore, all children are considered for full day care. We do not offer any half day pricing programs.
What is the Teacher to Child ratio?
Infant – 2:7
Toddler – 3:9
Preschool – 2:20
Are the teachers licensed?
Yes, all of our lead teachers are college educated and licensed.
Do you do background checks on your employees?
Yes, all teachers and employees go through a full CORI background check through the Office of Safety.
Are your teachers trained in First Aid and CPR?
Although the Massachusetts Department of Early Education only requires First Aid for all teachers and CPR for 1 person on site, we require all employees to hold current certificates in both.
